By accessing or using this website and booking photographic services, you agree to the terms
and conditions outlined in the following. These terms are designed to ensure transparency,
protect both parties, and create a smooth experience for clients.
Services Offered
Captured Joy Jamie’s Lens provides professional photography services, including but not limited
to:
● Event Photography
● Pet and Animal Portraits.
● Individual and Family Portraits.
● Other custom photography sessions upon request.
Please view the Portfolios page, to best identify the service that meets your needs.
Booking and Payment
● All sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. All bookings will
go through a process to request confirmation.
● Captured Joy Jamie’s Lens reserves the right to deny a booking request.
● A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your date. The remaining balance is
typically due on or before the day of the session. In the event of failure to pay the
invoice, reminders will be sent via email.
● Accepted payment methods will be confirmed during the booking process.
● Prices are subject to change but will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
● If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide 48 hours notice.
● Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a new date (subject to
availability).
● Captured Joy Jamie’s Lens reserves the right to reschedule a session due to unforeseen
circumstances such as illness, weather conditions or equipment failure.
Client Cooperation
To ensure the best possible results:
● Clients are expected to arrive on time and prepared for their session.
● For pet sessions, please ensure your animals are groomed, safe, comfortable, have all
necessary restraint and requirements met (I.e. dog leads, water bowls, heat and uv
source for reptiles and anything else they might need). Please ensure that you also bring
any attributing products that you would like to be included in your photoshoot (I.e. dog
bandanas). Captured Joy Jamie’s Lens also has a background in Animal Management
and can therefore, have a discussion regarding photoshoots for more behaviourally
difficult animals. However, has the right in the discussion to deny a photoshoot for health
and safety reasons.
Late arrivals may reduce the length of your session without a refund. In the event of running
late, please be prepared to inform Captured Joy Jamie’s Lens by your current form of
correspondence when this circumstance arrives with an ETA.
Image Delivery
● Edited images will be delivered in a digital format, unless requested otherwise.
● Delivery timelines will be discussed at the time of booking, typically ranging from 1-3
weeks.
● Final image selections are at the discretion of the photographer, with retouching and
editing included as agreed upon in advance.
Copyright and Usage Rights
● All images are the intellectual property of Captured Joy Jamie’s Lens and are protected
under copyright law.
● Clients receive personal usage rights for printing, sharing and display.
● Commercial use, resale, or alteration of images without consent is prohibited.
● Captured Joy Jamie’s Lens may use selected images for promotional purposes,
including portfolio display, social media or advertising - only with your prior permission.
Privacy and Confidentiality
● Client information is kept confidential in accordance with Captured Joy Jamie’s Lens
Privacy Policy. Personal data will only be used to manage bookings and provide
services.
● With client consent, any selected images for social media, advertising and portfolios,
descriptions and tagging of the subject in images may be used.
Liability
Captured Joy Jamie’s Lens takes the utmost care in capturing and handling your images.
However, is not liable for:
● Unexpected weather, equipment malfunctions/damage or acts beyond their control.
● Loss or damage of images due to third-party printing services.
● Injuries or accidents during sessions not caused by their negligence.
● If you change your mind for marketing images, once they have been released after
verbal or written consent. However, these images will be removed immediately after you
withdraw your consent.
Changes to Terms
These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. Continued use of the site or services
implies acceptance of any revisions.
User Conduct
● No form of abuse online or aggressive behaviour in any form (online/phone call/in
person) will be tolerated when using any of Captured Joy Jamie’s Lens services, website
and social media.
● If at any time, a form of gross misconduct is seen under the previous bullet point in user
conduct, refusal to continue any prior bookings and future bookings may be cancelled
and a discussion or immediate termination of the use of Captured Joy Jamie’s Lens
services and website will be invoked.
